Maori Netball

The following girls have made the IKTT Maori Netball teams in their respective age groups.

Under 13's: Hineora Mike-Hodges is one 10 players and was selected from 70 girls.

Under 15’s: Laura Talbot & Tarquinne Te Runa Morehu

Under 19’s: Amiria Rangitutia & Jayde MacIntosh

For Laura representative netball is all new, however the game is not and she is a very promising young player. Tarquinne has been around Maori Netball for quite some time & has followed in her older sister's foot steps. She does bring her own personality to the game.

Amiria & Jayde have been around in Maori Netball since they were in U13’s & it so good to see them step up in the game of Netball. They are & have been great role models for our younger players over the last couple of seasons & we look forward to seeing them out on the court.

Last but not least the National Tournament this year will be held in Taranaki over the Easter weekend which is a very demanding 2 days of netball for all our teams. It is great to see our young netballer's doing so well. Good luck girls for the season.
