DEPARTMENTS

Some of the department pages are still being worked on by students and some are still under construction.

We expect that this area will be complete and all of the content will be current very soon

Students who play sport for Aotea College must abide by the following conditions:

Accept the composition of the teams as selected by those in charge

Meet their obligations to the coach, the team and the school and they must commit themselves to their team.

Students MUST give reasonable notice to the coach/manager or sports coordinator if they are unable to attend a game – to avoid the team being charged a possible default fee.  If a team is charged a default fee this must be re-cooped from the team at the discretion of the sports department.

Uphold the reputation of the school, both on and off the playing field.

Attend all practices, games and meetings and be on time.

Behave well.

Accept and adhere to school rules when representing Aotea College.

Wear the correct uniform.  Players wearing incorrect uniform will not be allowed to take the field (no exceptions will be made.)

Players must wear the school tracksuit to and from trainings and games. If a student does not have a tracksuit, he/she must change back into school uniform.

Endeavour to avoid practice times when making outside appointments. Once you commit yourself to a team, you must show loyalty to the team and make it a priority. You may have to make sacrifices. “No Practice, no game”.

All fees must be paid in full on registration day, if not the student will be unable to trial for a sporting code.  Sport at Aotea College is user pays.

Uniforms/gear issued to players are their responsibility and students will be charged for any item not returned or damaged.
