• Sufficient understanding to enable each student to achieve success at NCEA Level 2

Goals

This course aims to develop:

• A  sound mathematical foundation for post-secondary study / work
• Appropriate mathematical understandings for further NCEA  study in mathematics

• 90288 (2.5) Statistics internal assessment ( Week ending 1 April)
• 20289 (2.6) Probability internal assessment (Week ending 14 May)
• US 5251 Trigonometry unit standard assessment (Week ending 5 March)
• Four end of topic tests
• School mid-year examinations (September)
• Level 2 NCEA external examinations (November)
