Welcome to the Aotea College Counselling Department.

From here you can discover information on the services that we provide. You can view the counsellors and peer mediators we have available. We have also provided help lines that are completely confidential for when further help may be needed.

Counselling sessions are confidential. However, if you or someone else is in danger counsellors must share this information with other professionals. Our counsellors are all professionally trained, supervised and work within the Code of Ethics of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors.

If you wish to book an appointment with one of our professional counsellors or peer mediators an appointment request form can be found at the school office. Once the form has been completed deposit it into the gold box and wait for a messenger to come and give you your appointment time. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let us know.
