What is counselling?


Counselling provides a space and processes to help you:

What do counsellors do?

Listen with curiosity
Ask questions that help you think differently about things
Respect your confidentiality
Give you information
Refer you to other services/agencies if necessary
Offer alternatives and give support
Train staff and students

 

Counsellors do not:

Tell you what to do
Believe we have all the answers
