Our site has recently undergone a major reconstruction and you will find that many of the links and some pages are not current yet. The school's website is seen as an important learning tool for students and the process of creating new pages, updating existing content and providing access to information on a range of school activities has begun. It is envisaged that there will be active links to all departments and that the content will be much more up-to-date.
Class photos are scheduled for Friday 19 February; students have been given the photograph order envelope with the details. Payment can be made prior to and on the 19 of February. Individual photographs can only be taken if payment has been received.
Winter sports codes pre-season trraining is under way - or due to start - and the new code of conduct for all participants will be published on the SPORTS pages by Friday.
This year the school timetable has been adjusted to allow for pastoral needs to be addressed in the morning - before lessons commence and FORM TIME has been moved to the beginning of the day.

Participation is always encouraged. Many sporting, cultural and academic activities are available to students at all levels and many individuals and teams from the school are recognised nationwide as achievers in a number of different fields.
Sporting Excellence: Several students were honoured in 2009 for their sporting achievements and a full list of achievers will be published on the Sports and Cultural Awards page but, in the interim, special mention must be made of Hoani Walker-Te Pania, who is a current member of the New Zealand Junior Basketball team and, along with his brother Manaaki, excelled in Athletics, taking a number of North Island and New Zealand titles.
Tessa McPherson has been selected for the NZ U17 Women's Football squad and the Girls 1st X1 Football team won their grade and produced a stunning effort to take out the Regional Satellite Tournament in September, beating Glendowie College of Auckland in their semi-final and then Onslow College in a penalty shoot-out to take the trophy.
Barbershop: The Music Department provides opportunities for all interested students to particpate in national competitions and Aotea chorus groups and foursomes are always placed in the top echelon. In 2009 " The Fource" took out the girls National Quartet title and all of the other groups placed in their respective divisions.
